How to Use Human Rights Counseling Service

Use of the Services

1.

Information will be strictly kept confidential. Any personal information
provided by you will not be used for other purposes.

2.

After receipt of your counseling request, we will send a reply with “your
human rights counseling request has been received” and the URL for
describing details of your human rights issue. Please access the URL to fill
out and submit the form.

3.

​​It will take a few days to reply to your counseling request. In case of
urgency, please use “Human Rights Counseling Office for Foreigners” or
“Foreign-language Human Rights Hotline.”

4.

Depending on the nature of your issue, you may be requested for interview
by phone or in person.

5.

Please acknowledge that you cannot make more than two further
counseling requests to the reply.

6.

To use “Human Rights Counseling Service on the Internet”, you need to
use a personal computer or other device with email sending/receiving
feature and internet browsing feature. Please note that “Human Rights
Counseling Services on the Internet” may not be used in some system environment.

7.

If you have set filters to block emails, you might not be able to receive our
replay email. Please make sure that you can receive emails from
”soudan.moj.go.jp”
